Bite Beauty Luminous Creme Finish Lipstick Review:

Before you head out to Sephora and purchase a Bite Beauty Luminous Creme Finish Lipstick that is easily going to cost you $26. You might want to reconsider and check out your local Marshall’s first glamour babes. I found an array of shades for just $6.99 each!

True, the Luminous Creme Finish Lipsticks are shades from a year or two ago, but who cares?! It’s a Bite Beauty lipstick! Who knows? You may reunite with your favorite discontinued lip color all over again. It could happen.

I happened to find two limited edition shades that were on my wish list once upon a time-Bellini and Mimosa. Oh, how I adore these shades. They are absolutely beautiful. I told you it could happen, lol.

Bellini is a cool toned fuchsia with a satin finish.

Mimosa is a warm red orange with a satin finish. I’ll be saving this one for the fall.

I adore Bite Beauty Lipsticks. Their satin finish formula is buttery smooth, creamy, opaque, lightweight, comfortable to wear, applies easily and evenly, has bold pigmentation, a balmy like texture, does not feather or bleed, and stays on for quite sometime. Depending on what is being consumed or not.

Oily foods-avoid. It’s a mess. Friends don’t let friends wear smudged lipstick.

Drinking-will only lose the sheen, tapering down to a vibrant stain, lasting 7-8 hours.

Alone-lasts all day.

Not bad for a satin lipstick, right?

Don’t let these Luminous Creme Finish Lipsticks get away if you spot them. For the price it’s worth grabbing a few or a whole lotta of em!

Be penny wise, not dollar foolish.

Stay beautiful! Xo.

Kat Von D Lock It Concealer Review:

You’ll never believe what I spotted and purchased at Marshall’s this time glamour babes. Go on, take a guess…..Give up? Okay, I’ll bite. It’s Kat Von D’s Lock it Concealer!!!!

This bad girl normally costs $25 for 0.58 Fl Oz. at Sephora and KVD Beauty, and I got it for $4.99. How crazy is the price difference?! I saved $20! Sorry for the unattractive pic. The high end cosmetics are now located at checkout, so you know how that goes. Ain’t no body got time for makeup junkies holdin up the line, lol.

There were only two shades available-Deep 38 and Medium 26. I bought Medium 26, also known as original tan. I am aware that I am no where near a medium shade on the concealer charts, but I didn’t care. I have plenty of fair toned foundations and BB Creams to mix my new medium with.

To my surprise, the concealer is not as dark as how the tube portrays it to be. It is actually more of a light medium (neutral with yellow undertone) than a full on medium shade, and I really like it.

The water resistant liquid formula is smooth, creamy, lightweight, comfortable to wear, easy to apply, blendable, buildable, does not oxidize or clog pores, suitable for normal, oily, combo skin types, and sets in a beautiful matte finish.

*Shake well before use.

I felt that the coverage was more medium than full. Kat Von D’s Lock It Concealer camouflaged everything but the redness I had from a few blemishes. I had to go the extra step and lightly bake on some of Wet n Wilds Photo Finish Pressed Powder to hide my additional flaws. It’s a favorite of mine. The powder is lightweight, not to mention affordable, and doesn’t produce a cakey looking veil once everything is said and done. My skin looked impeccably flawless afterwards

If you have oily or oily/combination skin. Don’t fret. Skin stays matte throughout the day. During the course of a 10 hour work shift, there was barely any oil peeking through my t-zone. What’s another word for incredible? Wonderful, fantastic, awesome, great. Yea, this concealer are all of those adjectives in a nutshell.

I gotta get my hands on another one. Let’s hope I can find it for the same price again.

Have you tried KVD Beauty’s Lock It Concealer?

What are your thoughts?

Stay beautiful! Xo.

Marc Jacobs Eye-Conic Multi-Finish Eyeshadow Palette Review:

Whahoo! Marc Jacobs Beauty is cruelty free glamour babes! I was one of the lucky contestants to receive their New Fall Eye-Conic Multi-Finish Eyeshadow Palette ($49) through Influenster for reviewing purposes.

I had no idea Marc Beauty was on the cruelty free list (logical harmony, cruelty free kitty, PETA). I just assumed that the brand was owned by Coty (not cruelty free), and I left it alone. Obviously, I got ahead of myself, judged too quickly, and did not do my research properly. Here is what I learned. Coty owns Marc Jacobs Fragrances, not Marc Jacobs Beauty, which is owned by Kendo-a Cruelty Free Company that works with other brands that we all know and love, such as Kat Von D, Bite Beauty, and Ole Henriksen.

If you want to read more about it, visit CrueltyFreeKitty.com. It’s an eye opener, I’ll tell you that much. The link is above.
So what gorgeous Palette out of the six available was I given from Marc Beauty and Influenster you wonder?
Frivoluxe! And boy is she beautiful.

The Icy cool toned gray and violet palette carries 7 shades, ranging in four finishes-Velvet Matte, Silk, Satin, and Metallic.

The eyeshadows come housed in a gorgeous modernesque all black sleek plastic case that includes a slender mirror so you can focus your attention on those smoldering eyes that are about to be created.

The formula is finely milled, intensely pigmented, comfortable to wear, easy to apply, all of the shades are blendable and buildable, providing long lasting wear. Because the eyeshadows are finely milled there is a good amount of kick back dust, and eyeshadow debris during application. Beware.
I lost track of time after 6 hours. My eyes were smmmmooookkkkiiinnnnn all day well into the night. You can customize the shades to your liking. They can easily be manipulated for day or night wear.

I absolutely love this palette. I already have my eyes on two others from this collection-Edgitorial (camouflage and gold) and Scandalust (rust and warmed browns with scarlet). I will have to wait for a special occasion like my birthday however. Marc Jacobs Eye-Conic Multi-Finish Palettes are a pretty penny. As scary as this is going to sound, fall (November baby right here!) is right around the corner. This frightening thought however, gives me plenty of time to save my dollars for a rainy shopping day!

The Marc Jacobs Beauty Eye-Conic Multi-Finish Eyeshadow Palettes are available at these fine retailers-Sephora, Neiman Marcus, and MarcJacobsBeauty.com.

Remember, when in doubt smokey eye it out!

Stay beautiful! Xo.

Essence Cosmetics Blush Play Review:

I am totally crushing on Essence Cosmetics New Blush Play Sculpting Palette ($5.99) glamour babes. This Palette lets you sculpt, define, and highlight your cheekbones effortlessly with three simple shades, and they all work together perfectly.

I purchased Play It Peach. I did want Play It Pink too, but it was sold out. Apparently girls really do love pink, and not just on Wednesdays either. Lol.

Play it Peach Palette has a beautiful corally pink color scheme.

The packaging is pretty straightforward. It’s a sturdy plastic compact with a clear window with black lettering defining the product (as shown above). I am okay with the design. I think its a good looking palette for $6. I bought it didn’t I? Lol.

The powder formula is lovely. It’s lightweight, buttery smooth, comfortable to wear, easy to apply, blends out evenly, highly pigmented, buildable, compliments fair to medium skin tones, and the finishes of the blushes are different from one another.

Highlight is a pearlized finish.

Define is satin finish.

Sculpt is a matte finish.

I really like the individual finishes Essence’s Blush Play Palette offers. It gives cheekbones nice depth, making them look precise and sharp. You can also use the shades separately if you want for a softer, radiant appearance.

The color payoff is outstanding. I didn’t think my freshly colored contoured cheeks would last long, but they did-a full 8 hours. I definitely need to grab Play It Pink. I love this palette for every day wear. These are makeup must haves for me.

I haven’t seen the Blush Play Palettes in stores as of yet (did you?). If I do I will be sure to revise my post. They are available at EssenceMakeup.com, and shipping is free when you make a $15 purchase.

What do you think of Essence’s new sculpting and highlighter palettes?

Yay or nay?

Stay beautiful! Xo.
