Flower Beauty Hollywood Secret Concealer Kit Review:

I’m spilling the beans glamour babes, I cannot keep Flower Beauty’s Hollywood Secret Concealer Kit ($14 0.03 oz) a secret any longer-It’s amazing! This travel friendly, all in one kit had everything I needed to lighten, brighten, conceal, and correct my complexion effortlessly and flawlessly in no time. It was pretty much all I used while I was away in the Dominican Republic, along with Tarte’s Rainforest of the Sea Water Foundation (deluxe sample) Broad Spectrum SPF 15. Let me tell you, the two worked seamlessly together on my oily skin. I’m glad I decided to take them on the journey. The Flower Beauty Hollywood Secret Concealer Kit is housed in a slim, sturdy white compact that includes a dual sided concealer brush, and has a clear window viewing four of the following shades:

Brightening Primer-this primer provides an even base for concealer and lightens dark circles before concealer application.Drew needs to sell the brightening primer separately, it’s everything! I prefer using it alone and absolutely love the way the primer brightens my eyes while erasing dark circles instantly. The whitish concealer base melts right into skin, leaving no trace of a casper like appearance around the eye area. Good stuff!

Anti-redness Concealer- is an olive toned concealer that neutralizes redness. This is yet another concealer that needs to be bottled and sold separately. I don’t mind the green pastel color correctors, they do work. But I feel no matter how much I blend, I can’t seem to get rid of the underlying greenish tint afterwards. Am I not blending hard enough? Lol. I didn’t have this issue with the olive concealer, it cancels out redness impeccably, and doesn’t leave a greenish hue on skin once set.

The light and dark concealer shades can be used alone or combined to match your skin tone. This kit is suitable for fair to medium skin tones. These two concealers are too light for deeper skin-mixed or not.

The concealer formulation is great. It’s lightweight, creamy, hydrating, super gentle on skin, opaque, does not clog pores, long lasting, comfortable to wear, easy to apply, blends well, does not cake or streak, and provides medium coverage. It’s also free of GMO’s, Talc, Sulfates, and Phthalates. What more could you ask for in a concealer kit?! It’s absolute, and works for all skin types, even acne prone (right here) and sensitive skin.

Now that the secret is out, what do you think of the Hollywood Concealer Kit? Could it be the perfect concealed weapon to a pretty complexion?

Do share!

Stay beautiful, xo.

Flower Beauty Flower Pots Powder Blush Review:

Well, this flush of color did not fail to disappoint glamour babes. Flower Beauty’s Flower Pots Powder Blush has got me in this crazy little thing called love, and I had a feeling it would. I have not been dissatisfied by a flower beauty product yet! Wait, let me not jinx that statement, I take it back, lol. http://New Flower Pots Blush – FlowerBeauty.com Product description:

Naturally radiant cheeks that are as pretty as a flower petal! Flower Pots Powder Blush blends on smooth and silky, enhancing your skin tone with a healthy warm flush of color……I can tell you right off the bat, the five shades available (Sweet Pea, Warm Hibiscus, Peach Primrose, Wild Rose, and Deep Peony) will flatter any skin tone, and are the perfect summer accessories for a colorful glowing complexion. Sweet Pea was my all time favorite as was Peach Primrose and Wild Rose, but they were sold out. Next time Walmart.

Sweet Pea is a warm dusty rose with a satin finish. The formula is finely milled, super duper pigmented, lightweight, and it has a creamy, velvety smooth texture that makes building and blending of the shades effortless.

Oh! And the color payoff is incredible! I was so happy to see my soft rosy cheeks stay with me for a full 8 hours. I am definitely going back for the other two shades, I hope they are back in stock. Fingers crossed! So, I have heard through the Instagram grapevine from several beauty bloggers that these are a dupe of Milani’s Rose Powder Blushes-I beg to differ. The blush compacts are quite different in size. Milani’s are huge comparing to Flower Beauty’s.Both carry different shades and finishes- matte vs. satin. The flower embossments on the blushes are no way near close to each other or are from the same plant family. Drew chose the Camellia flower which is the brands signature flower. Milani on the other hand embossed their blossoming blushes with a rose. The only similarity I see is the price point. Depending on the store or website, the blushes run between $9 to $10. That’s still an overall good price for a drugstore blush if you ask me.

If you can’t find the Flower Beauty Flower Pots at your local Walmart, look no further boys and girls, FlowerBeauty.com is open for business!

Haul until your heart is content.

Stay beautiful! Xo.

Flower Beauty Shimmer and Strobe Highlighting Palette Review:

Sorry if I have been focusing on one subject lately, that being highlighters/highlighting palettes glamour babes. Even though it is early in the new year, I have discovered many new highlighters/palettes that are of outstanding quality at superb prices. Flower Beauty’s Shimmer and Strobe Highlighting Palette is no exception.

Yes, you found me out boys and girls. I have a highlighter addiction, can’t you tell? Lol. I am absolutely in love with this palette! The shades are GOR-GE-OUS! Available at Walmart for $12.98. The Shimmer and Strobe Highlighting Palette comes with three universal strobing shades (Champagne, Pink and Gold) plus an angled strobing brush to create dimensional radiance. This palette is ideal for all skin tones. The shades are highly pigmented, have a buttery soft texture, and do not produce a studio 54 blinding disco ball finish either. They have a soft pearlized finish, and blend into the skin evenly and easily. Sculpting your features are effortless and take no time at all when using this palette. Although Drew’s palette provides sheer coverage, you can still manipulate the hues if you’re looking to add a little more sparkle and pop to your complexion. They are buildable and give skin a beautiful natural glow. I love applying the colors to my brow bones, cheekbones, Cupid’s bow, décolleté area, and wherever else my skin needs a touch of shimmer without looking overly made up.

The brush that comes with this palette is actually really nice. When have you ever heard me say that about a compact brush before? Lol. It’s super soft, has a good amount of bristles, and picks up color in one clean swoop.

The color payoff is pretty sweet if you ask me. I had to pull an all nighter. It was one of those days where I had to work, then head out to an engagement afterwards. All work, and some play, made Sam a busy girl. My skin glowed close to 12 hours! There was barely an oily t-zone peeking through or color fade. I looked as luminous as I did walking into work at 9 A.M. This is yet another highlighter approved favorite from The Glam with Sam.

Forget about the milk and bread. The next time you head out to Walmart, be sure this highlighting palette makes the list! Glowing skin is always in.

Stay beautiful! Xo.

Flower Beauty Skincognito Stick Foundation Review:

Disguise your skins identity glamour babes with the Flower Beauty Skincognito Stick available at Walmart. Each stick retails for the very reasonable price of $8.98 and comes in eight natural shades that will work for any complexion. I know I always say that I do not care for foundations because of there heaviness and pore clogging disadvantages to my skin, but I was curious to see how Drew’s foundation worked due to it being cruelty free, paraben free, and the line is partially vegan! (please read labels). I must admit, it was a little hard for me to choose a shade because they go by a number system (SF1, SF2, etc…) and there was no nice lady at the Walmart counter to help me find my correct shade. I had to do this all on my own (ba ba bum) but I figured most of my concealers, BB’s, CC’s and foundations run in the light/medium family, so I went with SF2, which is a warm light medium foundation stick with a yellow undertone (jackpot!). The stick foundation comes in a standard swivel tube making it ideal for on the go.

It has a creamy lighter than air finish that glides onto your skin smoothly, blends easily (for best results use a face blending brush, this will prevent streaks) and creates a natural finish. I would not call this stick a foundation since foundation does tend to run on the heavier side and provides more coverage. This goes on sheer, more like a BB or CC stick that helped take care of my minor flaws (blotchiness, subtle acne scars, uneven skin tone) and made my skin look dewy and gorgeous. This had me beaming with utter joy. For a “foundation” product that is not oil-free I was shocked to see that it did not make my skin anymore oilier than it already is. I wore this for an 8 hour day and my skin remained in tact with just the usual oily t-zone and no flare ups of any kind. I know everyone’s skin can react differently to a face product, but I totally think this is worth giving some attention to the next time you drop by and visit Flower Beauty . And, if your sensitive there is a natural anti-inflammatory (Gotu-Kola) infused in each stick to help soothe any irritations or inflammation your skin may have. Drew’s goal was to make “high end cosmetics at drugstore prices” giving you the quality cosmetics you want and deserve. I’m starting to think this is going to be the beginning of a flowerful relationship. Stay beautiful! xo.
