Beauty Bakerie Lip Whip Review:

Stop whatever it is that you are doing glamour babes, I have something to say-Beauty Bakeries Lip Whip Liquid Lipstick ($20 0.17 oz) is anything but ordinary, it simply takes the cake!
Everyone needs to wrap their lips around this zero calorie, all sweet, vegan friendly treat!

I’ve been dying to try the brands liquid lipstick for ages, so when the right opportunity came my way (Memorial Day Sale! 30% off) I got to cakin.
Initially I did want Cranberry Stiletto (dark berry red), but sadly it sold out by the time I headed to the Beauty Bakerie Website. That doesn’t mean I couldn’t find another shade. Beauty Bakerie has an array of gorgeous colors that will satisfy anyone’s sweet tooth. Mon Cheri did just the thing.

Mon Cheri is a classic beautiful bold red. If you want your lips to stand out, grab this shade. You’ll bring all the boys to the yard. The formulation is lightweight, hydrating, super pigmented, comfortable to wear, easy to apply, does not cake, crack, feather, or bleed, and sets into a lovely matte finish.
I know I have ranted and raved about liquid lipsticks in the before, but this is by far my favorite. I need to own more shades! STAT! The long lasting wear and color payoff has me sold. I now understand Beauty Bakeries hash tag for their lip whips #whatsmudge. They do not smudge, it’s amazing! Eat and drink until your hearts content (avoid oily foods), the color goes nowhere. I literally had Mon Cheri on my lips all day and the color remained truer than true. I’m so impressed by the formulation. What’s your secret Beauty Bakerie? Is it love?! I bet it’s love.
Since the lip color barely moves on its own, you will need an oil based remover. Might I recommend Beauty Bakeries Lip Whip Remover Pads ($14 for 50 wipes)?Seriously, these pads are awesome as well. All you need is one oil based pad to remove any lip whip from your lips. Definitely a product to look into if other removers haven’t delivered as promised. These totally get the job done in a swipe or two.

You can grab your confections at, or if you’re from the San Diego, California area, why not visit their store?! It’s a sweet trip to a cosmetics shop.

JD Glow Cosmetics Liquid Lipstick Review:

Happy Friday glamour babes! Quick question. Have you ever heard of J.D. Glow Cosmetics? Don’t feel bad, Neither have I, until a few months back as I was taking a daily scroll through my Instagram feed. The company peaked my curiosity and I ordered a few of their liquid lipsticks to try on for size. J.D Glow Cosmetics was created by two best friends back in 2015-Jennifer and Deandra in Baton Rouge Louisiana. Their cosmetic brand caters to Ladies and Gents of all ages as well as all ethnicities. They aim to create high end quality cosmetics at low prices.” I don’t know about low prices, considering that they charge $15 dollars a piece for their liquid lipsticks. I found that kind of misleading. I was lucky enough to snag three of them during a sale, but there are new and upcoming cruelty free/indie makeup brand companies such as Colourpop that sell their liquid lipsticks ($6) for the fraction of the cost. Just sayin.

J.D. Glow’s Liquid Lipsticks are indeed beautiful. The bold, colorful shades of Fiya Red, Rouge, and Crazen caught my eye, even though I was mostly enamored by the gorgeous packaging. Do I really have to explain the packaging? The photograph speaks volumes, lol.  Fiya Red is a vibrant red orange.Rouge is a red with blue undertone.Crazen is a warm fuchsia red.The formula of these liquid lipsticks have hit and misses. They are lightweight, go on smoothly and evenly, have a creamy, mousse like texture, are highly pigmented, do not streak, are comfortable to wear, and set in a matte finish. However, they do not have long lasting wear, aren’t transfer proof, and the sweet chemically scent is a little off putting. I have been wearing these for months now, which is why it has taken me awhile to review J.D. Glow’s Liquid Lipsticks. I wanted to give them a chance. I thought I may have been applying these incorrectly, but let’s face it, the best way to apply a liquid lipstick is on bare, dry, clean, exfoliated lips. A norm in my liquid lipstick routine. Every time I would eat or take a sip of something, I felt the color slipping off of my lips as it then started to feather and bleed, creating uneven, patchy lips. I got about an hour wear before having to remove the color off my lips entirely. It was a very unflattering look. If not eating or drinking, the color will stay on nicely-approximately 6 hours.

I am not exactly loving these, so they will be put to the side once I know what to do with them. For now, I’ll just admire the opulent casings that are fit for a queen.

J.Cat Beauty Lipfinity Matte Kissproof Lip Review:

OH-EMM-GEE glamour babes, I am loving J.Cat Beauty’s Lipfinity Matte Kissproof Lip. There are sooooooo many shades to choose from, and the staying power is incredible for a $5 liquid lipstick. Kiss the ones you love and see if the lipstick transfers. Go ahead! See for yourselves. The kissproof lip is in the pudding. From neutral to bold, has got what you need in 24 gorgeous transfer-proof shades. Talk about a selection!

I played it safe since these are fairly new and ordered two- Vegas before Vows and Bottles Left and Right.Trust me, I wanted just about all of them, but it’s better to be safe than sorry. Especially, when it’s a new product you’re completely unsure of. Take it from the master of over hauling, lol.

Vegas before Vows is a warm fuchsia red. Bottles Left and Right is a juicy reddish pink.
The formula is waterproof, lightweight, opaque, crazily long lasting, very comfortable to wear, goes on evenly, and the doe foot wand makes it easy to apply. It does not crack, cake, bleed, feather, crumble or leave lips feeling dry.
I ate and consumed multiple beverages through out the day when wearing these lip shades, and not one of them transferred on to any cup, nor did they fade. These babies stayed on my lips for 10 hours, with no touch ups needed. The color remained as true to when I first applied it. You will need to use an oil based makeup remover to remove the color. The Kissproof Matte Lip does not budge without it. It’s insane!

*BEAUTY TIP: I recommend exfoliating your lips before application. This will prevent any color from setting into fine lines or adhering to flaky bits of skin. We’ve all been there and it’s not attractive. Can we agree on this? Little bit, right? Lol.

I am definitely purchasing more shades. Lipfinity’s formula and color payoff has me completely blown away. Plus, they’re super affordable.

Now, I have a question for you, who’s hopping on this J.Cat Beauty band wagon with me?!

Stay beautiful!

Jordana Sweet Cream Matte Liquid Lip Color Review:

Jordana’s Sweet Cream Matte Liquid Lip Color ($4.99 at select Walgreens) did not end up being a hit for me glamour babes. It was a total flop. I bought four shades and was disappointed by all of them. I don’t know how they’re considered to be a five star liquid lipstick. They get two stars across my board. I have had plenty of drugstore liquid lipsticks (Wet n Wild, cough, NYX, cough) that performed better than these.

I will say Jordana has a great shade selection. 26 dessert inspired colors ranging in tones of nudes, pinks, purples, berries, reds, and corals. The vibrancy is there too. Each Sweet Cream shade is as colorful as the next, carrying the sweet smell of vanilla frosting. Yum! Red Velvet Cake is a decadent rich red.
Cherry Cobbler is your classic cool blue red.Sugarberry Crumble is a warm mid-tone magenta pink. Raspberry Tart is a vivid cool toned fuchsia.Beautiful Colors right?!

Now if they only had the 16 hours of wear, a creamy-whipped light weight feel, and left my lips feeling nourished with Vitamin A all day through as Jordana Cosmetics had described, I’d be one happy consumer, but I am not. Trust me, I wanted to LOVE these. The shades are gorgeous. The creamy, lighter than air texture was there. I just couldn’t get past the dryness of the formulation, uneven color application, feathering, and migration Jordana’s Sweet Cream Matte Lip Color produced. It was awful and unbearably frustrating trying to keep this liquid lipstick from self detonating all over my face. No matter what I ate or had to drink, my lips would soon crack and bleed all over the place, which created small specks of lip color on my chin, cheeks, and nose as if I had freckles. It was the weirdest thing. Obviously, these did not last for 16 hours, it was more like an hour. Removing what I applied was no easy task either. In order to fully remove the color, I had to use quite a few makeup remover wipes and use a forceful hand. It seemed like Red Velvet, Cherry Cobbler, Sugarberry, and Raspberry wanted to be permanent residents on the lip front, and I wasn’t having any of that. Ugggghhhhh, so dry! Where’s the chapstick? Is it Vitamin A infused for realsies this time? Lol.

Have you tried Jordana’s Sweet Cream Mattes?

What’s your take on them?

Please share!
