Pixi Sheer Cheek Gel Review:

Okay, so this time I have been using Pixi’s Sheer Cheek Gel ($14 for 0.45oz) the correct way glamour babes. On my cheeks! The name of the product says it all. But, you can use it on the lips too if you really wanna. It says you could on the box. See, I did my homework. Lol.

These are actually pretty nice. I’m not really one for cheek gels. They’re usually messy, feel kinda thick, or I can never get them to blend out right, creating a streaky, blotchy look.

Pixi’s however, creates a lovely sheer, dewy flush of color on the cheeks that’s perfect for this summer weather. A girl such as myself can get use to using these. They take no time to apply and look beautiful on.

The Sheer Cheek Gel comes in three shades.

NaturalRosyFlushedThe water/aloe based formula has a gel like consistency making it lightweight, hydrating, comfortable to wear, pigmented, easy to apply, and easy to blend. Suitable for all skin types, especially dry skin.

To apply: I use the flat end of my beauty blender sponge, along with a squeeze of Pixi’s Sheer Cheek Gel, and gently pat the color onto my cheek bones as it evenly melts into my skin. I tried my fingertips, but the application wasn’t as smooth and it stained my fingers a bit.

You can layer a powdered highlighter, blush or bronzer on top of the Cheek Gels for an extra burst of color or to extend the wear. The wear extension of these when worn alone was not a problem. I’ll take 7 hours of healthy rosy looking pinched cheeks any day. This pale complexion needs some of dat!

Pixi’s Sheer Cheek Gel is available at PixiBeauty and Target.com
