Guess what time it is glamour babes?! It’s peanut butter jelly time! Peanut butter jelly time! Peanut butter jelly time! Now where he at? Where he at? Where he at? Where he at? Now there he go, there he go, there he go, there he go. Sorry! This catchy tune always seems to creep inside my head when using Too Faced Peanut Butter and Jelly Eyeshadow Palette ($36.00 for 0.39oz), but I’m sure you saw that one coming. Lol. Just like the song, it’s a fun little palette to play with.
“Inspired by the social media sensation that is Peanut Butter from Too Faced’s bestselling Semi-Sweet Chocolate Bar Collection, they created this peanut butter palette of nine gorgeous matte and shimmer shades featuring antioxidant-rich cocoa powder with a creamy peanut butter twist! Bananas is a soft peachy gold w/ fine gold shimmer
Extra Creamy is a matte creamy beige
Spread the Love is a medium peach w/ gold sparkle
Jammin’ is a dark chocolate w/ golden sparkle
Jelly is a vibrant orchid
Nuts About U is a matte brown w/ red undertones

Peanut Butter is a matte medium orange brown
Peanut Butter Cup is a metallic golden bronze w/ gold sparkle
I will be honest. I did not pay full price. As much as I wanted this delicious looking peanut buttery palette, I thought $36 was a bit much for 9 eyeshadows. Luckily, Ulta’s Hot Buy happened to be this palette and I picked one up last week for $20!
FYI: The Too Faced PB&J Palette is still on sale and has not sold out yet online. You can call or type in your zip to find the closest Ulta Beauty store near you to check availability for pick up.
The Peanut Butter and Jelly Eyeshadow Palette comes housed in a sturdy tin compact that includes a mirror and glamour guide inside. Magnets keep the compact tightly secure for safe travels so you don’t lose your lunch. Hahahaha! Get it? Food humor.
What I love about this palette is that you can create beautiful smoldering eyes in minutes by using only three colors along with the how-to-glamour guide, and boom you’re done. Eyes look good enough to eat.
I went the soft and sweet route (Spread the Love, Peanut Butter and Peanut Butter Cup) and finished both eyes in five minutes. I was really pleased how the earthy, neutral tones complimented my skin and eye color (blue gray), and received many compliments. I will be using that shade combo quite often. Those might hit pan first. Lol.
The finely milled formula is lightweight, buttery smooth, comfortable to wear, easy to apply, blendable, buildable, versatile, highly pigmented, does not crease or run, and has a rich scent of chocolate and peanut butter that is not overpowering.
The color payoff is filling. In a good way. Without Primer 5 hours. With primer 8 hours. All this talk of savory and sweet is making me thirsty. Excuse me, while I pour myself a nice tall glass of almond milk. Ahhhhhhh.
Thinking of getting one?
Stay beautiful, xo.
